Colour Inspiration 101

colour

When I came up with idea of doing this post the title “Colour Inspiration 101” seemed like the perfect title but when I started getting all these photos of beautiful (and I mean BEAUTIFUL) hair colour the title almost became “Colour Envy”. The kiwaru was strong like never before… but I survived!

I have been toying with the idea of dying the ends of my hair purple for at least the last 5 years. “Vera, are you serious? In the last 5 years, being a controversial and politically-incorrect blogger became a full-fledged profession and you can’t dye your hair a purple ombre?” 😒 … Uuurm, well… yes. Pretty much. 😔

But hey, enough about me! If you’re looking to dye your hair for the first time, just want a change from the colour you currently have or just want to get some hair extensions with some colour then this post is for you. Yes, Pinterest is 🔥 when it comes to getting lost on the internet for hours but how many times have you thought to yourself can I actually get this done properly in Kenya?

That’s why all the photos here are of Kenyan women with absolutely gorgeous hair colours on and at very least, work done by our very own extremely talented Kenyan hairstylists- who I’ll admit we have very little faith in at times.

So, go ahead, feast your eyes (AKA Kula Kwa Macho) and if you can remember to, in between all the envy you’re about to experience, indulge me and leave me a comment telling me what hair colour you’d like to get done on your hair? I’m legitimately excited to hear all the colours you guys want to try
